The RevGen is a high-quality solution for dependable advertising insertion at consistently competitive industry prices. Incorporating advertising spots encoded with high-quality equipment, delivered via the Internet through DVD's and overlaid with schedules provided from a state-of-the-art advertising traffic and billing system, the RevGen is fully automated, requiring no human intervention beyond the initial installation phase in most cases.

- Schedules are delivered to the RevGen master control and its inserters, where verification occurs that all avails are filled. Spots requiring additional encoding are identified at this time.
- Based on the user-defined schedules, the inserter automatically determines the advertisements required and retrieves the respective files from master control.
- Once the necessary videos have been retrieved, the inserter queues up commercials for scheduled playback.
- When a cue, in the form of a DTMF tone, is received, the inserter plays back the commercial and sends a command to the splicer to replace the network feed with the local commercial feed.
- Once the insertion is complete, the server instructs the splicer to return to the network feed. Completion logs are validated and stamped for customer delivery.

The RevGen is capable of seamlessly inserting digitally-stored commercial content on up to twelve different networks per unit. Multiple units may be “stacked” in order to increase the number of channels available for insertion. Multiple units may be linked via local area networks for efficient content delivery. The RevGen System interfaces to all commercially available traffic and billing software. In addition, several monitoring and spot transferring software systems are available.
The RevGen System has four main components, making it easily upgradeable and expandable as your system’s needs change. These components include:
